Row two is conceded plainly because pretending otherwise would make the rest untrustworthy. The trade an independent is making is data scale for independence and specificity.
When a holdco platform is the right answer
If you are inside the network, use it. It is built for that, the data advantage is real, and running a second operating system alongside it is duplication. This page is for agencies outside the network and for in-house teams weighing whether to tie their operation to one.
The honest framing of the independent’s position: the holding companies have more data and you have more freedom to be specific. Being specific well is an operations problem.
