We're introducing a completely new way where humans and AI can collaborate with each other on creative tasks
We've been working hard this summer to bring you some exciting new features. It's not ready just yet, but we couldn't wait, so we wanted to share some early prototypes of the things we're working on behind the scenes. One thing that we're really excited about at Multiply is Agents. An AI agent is an autonomous actor, which can make decisions and take actions on its own. Think of it like asking your co-worker Jeff to do a competitor analysis for your ice cream shop called "Sundae Bloody Sundae" (if you know, you know). Jeff might first decide to go on to the internet and search for a few keywords, like "ice cream shops in Stockholm". After finding a few alternatives, he might then decide to pick out the first three results to do a deep-dive on a few specific competitors. After that, he might decide to look into some details about each specific competitor such as location, pricing, social media following and opening times. Once Jeff has compiled all of this information, he might create a document to present all his information for you to analyse.
Below is a small sneak peek of what a potential research Agent could do when asked a very simple question by the user. These agents could be customized to your liking with specific instructions for how to behave, they could then be integrated into different workflows, so as you go about your work, tackling a hard customer brief, doing desktop research, or brainstorming new concepts and ideas, your AI colleague could be there with you along the way. This is just one of the many new exciting features we're cooking up behind the scenes!
Why is this exciting? Well, we (and many other smart people), believe that this is the next paradigm in AI development. AI Agents that can make decisions on their own in order to come up with an answer or satisfy a specific goal. Imagine if your AI Agent decided that it needed some backup, maybe a whole team of other AI Agent buddies that it could collaborate with, and then automagically create a couple of new agents autonomously to help it complete a specific task, such as doing a deep competitor analysis.
Well, that's kind of what we've been working on. Many others have developed similar solutions, such as Devin AI for software development. We're introducing a completely new way where humans and AI can collaborate with each other on creative tasks, coupled with the ability to save and reuse all the content you create which makes Multiply better the more you use it.
